Elizabeth Rice, Inc. specializes in Original Contemporary Fine Art from Abstraction to Realism and authentic Biedermeier Antiques. Elizabeth Rice, Inc. Fine Art & Antiques provides its clients with an insight into the uncompromising human dedication that drives artistic creation, in both fine art and antiques.

The gallery contains a world-class collection of contemporary art by some of the world's most influential artists including: Jasper Johns, Willem de Kooning, Robert Motherwell, Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist and Sam Francis.

We also represent fine artists that are collected in some of the world’s most prestigious museums and private collections. Elizabeth Rice, Inc. is proud to represent the work of the following fine artists: Michael Barna, Ana Demertzis, David Ewles, Peter Gaztambide, Joan Giordano, Barbara Johnson,  Ken Kipen, John Knapp, Heinz Lechner, Ageeth Leemkuil, Bert Myers, Paul Stewart, Valentin Popov, Wayne Warren, Paula Watson, Jean Weinbaum and Marlene Wetherell. Elizabeth has over 17 years experience dedicated to understanding and interpreting the fields of design and the arts. Elizabeth has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University in 1987 and a Masters Degree from New York University, with a specialty in the History and Theory of the Arts. Additional post-graduate study at NYU focused on museum design and management. She has a full and unique background, including work as an exhibits designer on a $25 million museum renovation, designed by the internationally known architect Michael Graves. She has spent the past decade dedicated to assisting clients with purchases of fine art and antiques. Both she and her husband have lived and worked in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and London, England.

The gallery is a unique blend of Original Contemporary Fine Art and Antiques. The artists we represent work in mediums from Abstraction to Realism, including photography. Concerned with providing quality fine art and antiques to collectors, private investors and the design trade, Elizabeth and her team will gladly assist you with your selections.

The gallery is located in downtown Sarasota, Florida and can be easily reached from Naples, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta. We are open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and by appointment.
